What it makes you produce
One item for your checklist.
Something you write
Days to weeks, and nobody outside your company has to agree to it.
- FAR 52.203-19(c)
A written notice to current employees and suppliers that existing confidentiality terms blocking a report of waste, fraud or abuse are no longer in effect
Owed where agreements or statements signed before this contract carry prohibitions inconsistent with (b)
When it is used
All solicitations/contracts; no threshold.
Read closely
(b) is the standing prohibition on requiring such terms in the first place, and (d) leaves the Government's classified-information forms — Standard Form 312, Form 4414 and equivalents — untouched. The definition in (a) covers any written statement on nondisclosure of company information, not only a document titled NDA.
