What it makes you produce
One item for your checklist.
Something you write
Days to weeks, and nobody outside your company has to agree to it.
A written notice to employees, in the predominant language of the workforce, of their whistleblower rights under 41 U.S.C. 4712
FAR 52.203-17(b)
When it is used
Enters practically every civilian-agency contract, no value threshold, and flows down to all subcontracts via (c). On a DoD contract the equivalent role belongs to DFARS 252.203-7002 — if both show up in the same package, it is the prime's lazy template, not your mistake.
Read closely
The same notice a DoD order asks for under DFARS 252.203-7002, written on a different statute. Where both numbers arrive in one package, one notice covering both statutes is what the two paragraphs describe between them.

This is research, not legal advice. It states what the regulation says about this clause and cites the paragraph behind it. It does not rule on your order, and it does not rule on whether a prime's markings are correct.
