FAR 52.222-55 Minimum Wages for Contractor Workers Under Executive Order 14026
Does the regulation require it to flow down?
No
Primes still carry it in templates and it remains listed in 52.244-6(c)(1)(xviii) and 52.212-5(e)(1)(xx)
A clause can reach your subcontract without a mandate. Once it is in your document, it is a contract term all the same. The missing mandate is a fact about the regulation. It is not a ruling on your order.

When it is used
Legacy text: SCA-covered (52.222-41) or Davis-Bacon subcontracts performed in the US, any value. Reality as of Aug 2026: EO 14026 revoked by EO 14236 (2025-03-14); DOL ceased enforcement and announced rescission of 29 CFR 23.
Read closely
The rate itself is at paragraph (b)(1) and paragraph (f) is access to those records. Executive Order 14026 was revoked on 2025-03-14 by Executive Order 14236, the Department of Labor stopped enforcing it and announced the rescission of 29 CFR part 23, and no final rule had been located as of 2026-08-04; the January 2022 text and the prescription at FAR 22.1906 are still published and the clause is still listed in FAR 52.244-6(c)(1) and 52.212-5(e)(1). What was not revoked: Executive Order 13658, which covers contracts awarded or renewed between 2015 and January 2022 at $13.30 an hour in 2025 and $13.65 from 2026-05-11, and the separate wage floors under the Service Contract Labor Standards, Davis-Bacon and state law.

This is research, not legal advice. It states what the regulation says about this clause and cites the paragraph behind it. It does not rule on your order, and it does not rule on whether a prime's markings are correct.
